Source 5: Night Hunter- Papio Anubis

Habitat:
In the year 3000 there will be a new spices, which is evolved from the currently extinct Papio Anubis, the Olive Baboon inhabits Africa. This new creature is known as the Night Hunter-Papio Anubis.

The Night Hunter-Papio Anubis weights at the range of 10-30 kg. Papio are one of the large members from the Cercopithicidae family.

The Night Hunter -Papio Anubis has adapted and is comfortable in all range of temperatures, prefers the hot areas during the day, and likes the cooler environment during night times. by hunting at night decreases the chance of them being hunted and its infrared vision would also bring them great advantages at night times.

Night hunter- Papio Anubis eats meat, insects, lizards and large fruits. The Night hunter-Papio Anubis could be found in the dry areas of Kenya, Due to climate change Kenya is currently suffering from drought. Water is the source to all animals, but for the Night hunter Papio Anubis is totally different. Water to them is considered the secondary souce of food, each day they would only need to take in 200-300 ml of water, compared to the other animals that is just 1/4 of what they need. Baboons would consider meat as its primary source of food, and it makes up at least 70% of a Night hunter-Papio anubis's diet.

The female papio anubis now has a much more straight guidline when chosing its own partner, it will choses from the criteria of the males's body figure, strong, personal qualities, and the ranking of it. After picking within the lots she would consider it as its forever partner and would reproduce over the years, rather alike to human beings, marriages. Therefore they could ensure that their offsprings are in the most perfect conditions.

Adaption:

Behavioral:

1. During the cool days the Night Hunter- Papio Anubis would hide and sleep under a warm coolzy place under a tree. At night they would make use of its infrared sigh and hunt. They have chosen to sleep under a warm coolzy environment to protect itself and gives it more energy. They main reason for this to happen is because they believe that sleeping and hiding in a warm coolzy place would allow they to product more heat energy and keep themselves warm, therefore it allows them to have more energy while hunting.

-The environmental pressure: the main environmental pressure that cause this to happen might be because they were more adapt to the got weather in pervious generations and the climate has constanly changed over the last 10 decades, due to climate changes. Therefore the Night Hunter-Papio Anubis has adapted to this sort of themperature over time. The Night Hunter were also given fur therefore hunting at night won't make it a large different to them.

2. The Papio Anubis contains different breeding habits while compared to the modern day baboon. The female Papio Anubis has a much straighter restriction which mating, it choses its male mating partner by looking on its personal qualities, the ranking within the troop and its strengths and abilities. After picking within the lots she would consider it as its forever partner and would reproduce over the years, rather alike to human beings, marriages.

-The environmental pressure: the environmental pressure that may have brought this to happen maybe because over time their predators have increased in size over time, therefore the female might want it’s own offspring’s as a much stronger ones compared to others and therefore would have a higher life expectancy.

Structural:

1.The Night Hunter Papio Anubis has a larger and stronger body compared to it’s ancestors the baboons. The Papio Anubis takes up more meat then fruits, however the ancient baboon takes up more fruit sugar and therefore the Night Hunter Papio Anubis has more energy, more energy allows them to move a lot faster. Papio Anubis has larger muscles and a stronger body therefore they are less likely to become a prey and is ably to protect itself.

-The environmental pressure: the environmental pressure that might have cause to this adaption might be because of the climate change, creating less water and therefore more fights over water would have been taken place, and in order for the Night Hunter Papio Anubis to survive they need more of other sorces to keep them alive.

2.The Papio Anubis would have a larger head skull to place the brain. The brain size is relatively larger compared to the modern day baboons. A larger brain enables it to store more information and process more brain activities.

-The environmental pressure: the main environmental pressure that might have cause to this adaption maybe because they have to use more brain thinking while food were much harder to find and wherefore a larger brain was needed.

Physiological:
1. The Papio Anubus is a night hunter therefore it has the ability to activiate its infrared sight. Its ability is all much similar to some snakes. This ability allows the Papio Anubus to hunt prey and seek out for predators in the dark.

- The environmental pressure: the environmental pressure that might have led to the adaption might be because the Night Hunter Papio Anubus has fur to keep itself warm and because of climate change and global warming, the weather tends to turn colder during midnight, therefore the Night Hunter Papio Anubus takes great use of its advantage the fur and that also reduces its compitetion.
